As an Analytics Engineer, you play a critical role in transforming raw data into clean, reliable, and business-ready insights. You serve as the essential link between data engineers and business analysts – combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. Your work ensures that our data warehouse is not only technically sound but also accessible, well-modeled, and aligned with business needs.

Tech Stack: dbt | Google BigQuery / SQL | Tableau (occasionally) | Python (occasionally)

Your team

You’ll join a dynamic department (AI&T) of ~30 professionals, including project managers, solution builders, and business experts – all working together to accelerate growth across Commerce and Operations.

Within the Analytics & BI (ABI) team (9 professionals), we support:

• 600+ business users with interactive dashboards and self-service tools
• 30 analysts with curated, well-modeled datasets
• A data science team leveraging data for advanced modeling and prediction

This position is based in Varsseveld & Utrecht and is focused on serving our Operations stakeholders, working with systems such as TMS, WMS, and ERP.

Your mission

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs and create scalable data solutions
• Integrate complex source systems across countries and domains
• Design and maintain reliable data pipelines to support analytics at scale
• Lead transition to a modern, future-proof data warehouse

• SQL Mastery & Data Modeling (Kimball, DataVault)
• Data Pipeline Development in dbt

• Basic Python for data transformation
